Ciento cuarenta y cinco personas (145) concurrieron a votar el día de hoy en un proceso eleccionario ejemplar y participativo que tuvo como novedad la presencia masiva de locatarios del comercio (hasta ahora reticentes a participar) y la derrota de la saliente directiva de vecinos que dirigió el cerro Concepción durante cuatro años: Pablo Andueza (2008-2010) y Loreto González (2010-2012). De manera, entonces, que hay un giro en la principal organización del cerro cuyo alcance sólo se podrá evaluar dentro de algunas semanas más. 

Se comunica a todos los residentes y a todos los vecinos inscritos para votar en las elecciones de la Directiva del Cerro Concepción ( 2012-2015) que el Domingo 02 de Septiembre en la Iglesia Luterana ( Alemana por el costado) estará la Comisión Electoral esperándolos desde la 10 de la mañana hasta las 18 horas.

La Corporación Instituto Chileno Británico de Cultura de Valparaíso, el Departamento de Historia de la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez y el Comité de Restauración de la Iglesia Anglicana Saint Paul´s de Valparaíso saludan cordialmente a usted y tienen el agrado de invitarle a la Quinta Jornada de Historia Patrimonial “Legado Británico en Valparaíso” el día miércoles 5 de septiembre a las 18.30 horas en la Iglesia Anglicana Saint Paul´s (Templeman esquina Pilcomayo, Cerro Concepción, Valparaíso).

LAS ORGANIZACIONES PORTEÑAS QUE ACUDIERON A LA UNESCO SOLICITANDO A ESTE ORGANISMO QUE EVALUARA LAS INTERVENCIONES EN LA BAHÍA DE VALPARAÍSO CONTENIDAS EN EL PLAN MAESTRO DEL PUERTO, EN CONJUNTO CON OTRAS QUE ADHIEREN EN ESTE ACTO, ANTE EL INFORME HECHO LLEGAR POR UNESCO AL ESTADO DE CHILE Y CONOCIDO POR LA OPINIÓN PÚBLICA ESTA SEMANA, DECLARAMOS:

PRIMERO: CELEBRAMOS LA BUENA ACOGIDA QUE TUVO NUESTRA SOLICITUD POR PARTE DEL ORGANISMO INTERNACIONAL, DEMOSTRANDO QUE PROYECTOS DE TAN GRAN IMPACTO PARA NUESTRA CIUDAD DEBEN SER REVISADOS Y EVALUADOS PATRIMONIALMENTE.
